Marion Local's Nate Moeller Named SSN Player of the Week - 11-27-16
Nate Moeller rushed 17 times for 215 yards, three touchdowns, and caught six passes for 100 yards receiving.
With the 36-7 win over Patrick Henry the Flyers advance to next weekend’s Division VI state final game with Cuyahoga Heights.
Honorable Mention*** - Coldwater quarterback Dylan Thobe rushed for 176 rushing yards and had two TDS, he threw for 206 yards and connected for two TDS.
The Cavs advance to their fifth straight title game defeating Coshocton 33-14.
Marion Local's Duane Leugers Named SSN Player of the Week - 11-20-16

Marion Local QB Duane Leugers helped the Flyers to a Regional Championship win over Mechanicsburg 26-15. Leugers rushed for 95 yards on 15 carries and three TD runs. Leugers passed for a 168 yards on 11 of 15 attempts.
It's the 2nd time this season Leugers has picked up the SSN award.
Honorable Mention*** - Coldwater's Neal Muhlenkamp rushed for 105 yards on just carries, including a fourth quarter 65 yard TD run, he also added five extra points on the night.
Adams Central's Drew Schultz Named SSN Player of the Week - 11-13-16
(11-13-16) - Class 1A #6 Adams Central is heading to semistate as the Jets beat Southwood 23-7. Adams Central running back Drew Schultz (6'4 225lb) had 30 carries for 125 yards and three TDs. Adams Central advances to host 1A #2 Pioneer next Friday.
Honorable Mention*** - Marion Local advanced to the Division VI Region 24 championship with a 22-0 win over MAC rival St. Henry. QB Duane Leugers had two TD runs and finished the game with 92 yards rushing on 11 carries.
*** - Coldwater deflected a late FG attempt and held on for a 27-24 win over Greenview 27-24 in D V Regional play. QB Dylan Thobe completed 12 of 17 passes for 204 yards and a touchdown to lead the Cavs to the win.
*** - Fort Recovery's Jason Roessner scored three TDs in the Indians D VII 42-14 win over undefeated Covington to advance to the Regional Championship gane.
Ft. Recovery's Wil Homan Named SSN Player of the Week - 11-5-16(11-5-16) Ft. Recovery's Wil Homan picks ups his second SSN Player of the Week Award after leading the Indians to a 58-21 playoff win over Ada.
Homan rushed 21 times for 275 yards with 5 rushing TDs (28, 19, 2, 28, 53), he also had 2 catches for 29 yards and another TD. His total numbers includes 6 TDs and 300 yards total offense and also helps Ft. Recovery move onto the second round of the D7 playoffs.
Honorable Mention*** - St. Henry beat Spencerville 37-22 in the opening round of the D6 playoffs, the Redskins Ryan Luttmer rushed 21 times for a 170 yards, including two TDS (57 and 7 yards), he also kicked 3 XPs.
*** - South Adams beat Churubusco 29-27 to win the Class A Section title, Joe Stuber carried the ball 14 times for 120 yards and a touchdown.
*** - Adams Central knocked off Monroe Central 15-12 to pick up a Class 2A Sectional Championship, Drew Schultz was the work horse for the Jets picking up 160 yards on 36 carries.
*** - Marion Local beat West Liberty Salem 34-7 in the opening game of the D6 playoffs, QB Duane Leugers was 9 of 16 passing for 92 yards and two touchdown passes and also added a scoring run.
*** - Coldwater opened D5 playoff action with a 47-13 win over Brookville, QB Dylan Thobe threw for 250 yards on 8 for 11 passing and 4 TDS, he also added a rushing TD.
South Adam's Marcus Teeter Named SSN Player of the Week - 10-28-16
After losing to (2A #1) Woodlan by 33 points in week eight South Adams upset the favored Warriors 20-14 at Berne and will advance to the Sectional Final. Starfires QB Marcus Teeter threw two TD passes to Nick Wurster for touchdowns – including the game-winner at 8:03 in the fourth quarter to break a 14-all tie. Teeter finished the night 10-for-14 for 151 yards.
Honorable Mention*** - Adams Central beat (#8 1A) Shenandoah 35-24. Jets quarterback Andrew Hammond rushed 15 times for 137 yards and two touchdowns and threw for another score.
*** - Coldwater beat Anna 32-6 to help clinch a share of the MAC title, Nate Rindler rushed 5 times for 112 yards, including a 74 yard TD run. Rindler also returned a punt 72 yards for another TD.
*** - Marion Local shut-out Parkway 41-0 to claim a share of the MAC title, JackHoman rushed for four TDs.
Celina's Ryan Harter Named SSN Player of the Week - 10-21-16Ryan Harter - video courtesy WOSN
(10-21-16) Celina's Ryan Harter ran for 213 yards (11th in school history) on 27 carries and scored four rushing TDs on runs of 36, 11, and 2 yards. Harter also scored on a 33 yard pass from Brett Schweiterman in Celina's 55-28 WBL win over Shawnee.
***- Bellmont's Caleb Hankenson returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown then added a rushing touchdown in the Brave's Sectional win over Norwell 39-20.
***- South Adams beat Prairie Heights 54-7 in their opening Sectional game, J.D. Groh rushed nine times for 111 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Braves.
***- Adams Central won their Sectional opener over Wes-Del 35-7, Drew Schultz rushed 21 times for 141 yards, an added an 18-yard touchdown reception.
***- Coldwater's Zach Klosterman had two TD receptions of catches of 30 and 64 yards in the Cavs 34-0 win over Anna.
***- Marion Local's Matt Kahlig had 4 receptions for 115 yards and 1 TDM in the Flyers 31-0 MAC win over St. Henry.
***- Ft. Recovery's Will Homan went over 1,000 yards for the season rushing for 153 yards on 13 carries and scored 5 TDs in the Indians 37-0 win over New Bremen.
St. Henry's Blake Hoyng Named SSN Player of the Week - 10-14-16(10-14-16) St. Henry's Blake Hoyng scored three of the Redskins four TDs in a 28-14 MAC win over Delphos St. Johns. Hoyng rushed for nearly a 100 yards, his TD runs were of 40 and 6 yards and he also collected a 69 yard pass St. Henry QB from Daylon Lange.
The win for St. Henry was big as they prepare to take on Marion Local next Friday and a chance to stay at the top of the MAC.
Honorable Mention***Coldwater's Zach Klosterman, caught three passes dor 75 yards, including a 31 yard pass from QB Dylan Thobe for one of the Cavs two scores in their 14-7 win over Versailles

***Celina QB Brett Schwieterman was 5 for 9 for 86 yards, he rushed for 146 yards on 25 carries, threw for one TD to Kole Murlin and ran 31 yards for another score as the Bulldogs beat Van Wert 43-12.

***Marion Local QB Duane Leugers went 7 for 10 passing and 151 yards and rushed for another 68 yards. He ran for three TDs and threw for another in the Flyers 42-0 wion over Ft. Recovery.
***Jay County's Cole Stigleman scored four TDs to lead the Patriots to a 28-12 win over Heritage.

Marion Local Quarteback Duane Leugers is the the SSN Football Player of the Week. Leugers was 13 of 18 passing for 259 yards and two touchdowns. Leugers TD passes were for 12 and 4 yards to Nate Moeller. The Flyers handled New Bremen in a 46-0 MAC win.
***Ft. Recovery's Will Homan continues to impress in the Indians 17-7 win over Delphos St. John's, he rushed for 191 yards on 36 carries, 2 receptions for 40 yards, a 26 yard pass for a TD and a 1 yard run for his other TD.
***St. Henry DB Connor Bruggerman knocked down an Anna pass in end zone to end game in double OT and a key win 24-17 for the Redskins in the MAC.
***Jay County's Cole Stigleman rushed for 174 rushing yards and scored 2 TDS in the Patriots non-conference game win over Indianapolis Marshall 54- 8
***Adams Central quarterback Andrew Hammond was 4-of-8 passing for 113 yards throwing for two scores and ran for two more TDs as the Jets picked up a 55-6 ACAC win over Bluffton.
Jay County's Stancliffe Named SSN Player of the Week - 9-30-16
Thanks to a 4th quarter score, with 6:19 remaining, on a 35-yard pass from Holton Hill to Bryan Stancliff, the Patriots hang on to pick up a 29-28 Homecoming win over South Adams in an ACAC contest. Stancliffe ended homecoming night with four catches for 103 yards and the winning TD.
***Coldwater's Neal Muhlenkamp had 5 catches for 129 yards and 2 TD's and kicked four extra points in the Cavs 41-7 win over Parkway.
***St. Henry's Ryan Luttmer scored two TDs (one rushing, one passing), kicked two FGs and added four extra point kicks in the Redskins 34-14 win over Minster.
***Adams Central's Drew Schultz led the state ranked Jets to a 42-7 win over Southern Wells with eight carries for 77 yards and three touchdowns
Indian's Homan Named SSN Player of the Week (9-23-16)WOSN Video
Fort Recovery Junior Running Back (5'8 170lb) Will Homan was named this week's SSN Player of the Week as he helped the Indians bounce back from a tough loss last week at Coldwater, he rushed for a 127 yards (25 carries) and scored all five Indian TD's (4 rushing, 1 on a pass) in a 33-21 home MAC win over Minster.

Honorable Mention***Adams Central Junior Running Back Drew Schultz (6'4 225lb) had 128 rushing yards and scored 3 TDs in the Jets 45-14 win over cross-county rival South Adams.
***Coldwater QB Dylan Thobe had over 200 yards total offense (Passing - 10-17-121) (Rushing 18-118). Thobe helped in two of the Cavs TDs, including a 72 yard run and a 4 yard pass to Neal Muhlenkamp. The Cavs beat St. Henry 21-14
***Parkway Senior Captain QB Justin Barna had two rushing touchdowns and threw for two more to junior wide receiver Caden May; one was for 90-yards bomb and the other on a 48-yard pass. The Panthers beat New Bremen 41-10.
***Marion Local's Nate Moeller had 113 rushing yards, a touchdown, and a 60-yard kickoff return in the Flyers 28-7 MAC win over Versailles.
***Celina QB Brett Schwieterman rushed for 192 yards (25 carries) and scored two TDs on runs of 3 and 18 yards in the Bulldogs 28-20 win on the road over Defiance.

Coldwater QB Dylan Thobe (Senior) led the Cavaliers to a 30-12 win over Mercer County rival Fort Recovery. Thobe ran for 47 yards, scored twice on runs of 8 and 5 yards, he threw for 196 yards and 1 touchdown pass of 53 yards to Nate Rindler.

*** - Celina's Kole Murlin (Junior) had 83 yards on three carries, including a 60 yard TD run in the Bulldog's 21-14 loss to O-G in WBL action.
*** - St. Henry's Ryan Luttmer (Junior) had 2 rushing TDs of 25 and 6 yards and added 5 extra point kicks in the Redskins' 41-6 win over Parkway.

Last second shot by Jill Froning for unranked Celina wins the game over Ohio's #1 rated Pickerington (were also rated in USA Today Top 5)...Celina went on to win the Ohio D1 State Championsip game.
