The QB The WBL Forgot

(11-24-16) This QB was named Honorable Mention this season in the WBL. Take a look at his total offensive stats, he passed for 24 TDs and rushed for 13 more and was a part of 37 for the season, he passed for 2,822 yards and rushed for another 736 yards for 3,558 yards of total offense. WOWZER!

Kenton Senior QB Trent Hites (5'9 170 lbs) deserved a better fate than that, sure the WBL had tri-champions and the Wildcats finished at just 5-5. But his numbers are impressive in anybodies league. Honorable mention, he's way more deserving than that and as a Senior he deserved a better placing on the all conference team. In many conferences around the country he's the MVP with numbers like that.

His career numbers are just as impressive in 40 games played, 8,847 career passing yards, 1,820 yards rushing and over 10,000 yards total offense (10,667). He had 73 career TD passes and rushed for another 28 and was a part of 101 in his career.

Stats from MaxPreps

Hites also leaves his name in several OHSAA all-time record catagories, very impressive for an Honorable Mention All Conference guy.
